Kristin became part of The Logan Healthcare Foundation in September 2024. She brings over a decade of leadership experience from her previous role as Executive Director of Coalfield Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike serving Southern West Virginia. During her tenure there, she was deeply involved in grant writing and program management. Her career also includes experience as a registered nurse and in physician recruitment.
She holds undergraduate degrees in Biology from Marshall University and Nursing from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, as well as a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from Marshall University. In 2021, Kristin was nominated for the Power of Performance award for Small Communities Big Solutions. She serves on several boards in Southern West Virginia, co-founded the Wild and Wonderful collaborative in Logan County, and served as President of the West Virginia Rural Health Association in 2023.

Ty Martin

Ty joined The Logan Healthcare Foundation team in August 2021, bringing over 20 years of administrative experience. She ensures smooth day-to-day operations, overseeing office tasks, documentation, reporting, and meeting coordination. Passionate about helping others, Ty values working for an organization that significantly enhances community resources.
Before joining the foundation, Ty built her career in the mining industry, serving as an office manager, administrative assistant, environmental technician, and environmental coordinator. Her responsibilities included managing permitting for the WVDEP and preparing and submitting water, air, and tonnage reports. Beyond her professional work, Ty has volunteered extensively in Boone County, organizing dinners for seniors, planning children’s Christmas celebrations, and delivering food baskets to families in need. She is an active member of the First Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith in Garrett's Fork, WV, and treasures time spent with her family.
